What time does nexus pick us at?
Nexus picks passengers up according to our fleet’s availability, your flight departure time, and time of day. Ultimately our goal is to get you to the airport terminal at least 90 minutes before your flights depart, so (i.e.) if your flight departs at 9:00am we would pick you up between 5:45-6:00am with the goal of dropping you off at the terminal around 7:00am. In this same scenario, we can/will pick you up earlier if requested or needed.
Does Nexus pick us up at home?
Yes. Nexus Transit picks you and your group up at home, your office, hotel, or location, and drops you off right at the terminal at PDX.
How much luggage can we bring?
Each passenger is allowed to bring up to two (2) pieces of luggage included with your purchase. Any excessive, or additional luggage may have an additional charge, or require an exclusive van based on your needs.
How does the return service work when we come back?
Nexus will have a shuttle in the area based on your flight return time, which is what you set as your pick-up. In other words when booking returns, state your flight arrival time. After landing, and recovering all your baggage/luggage proceed directly to pick-up station, or #10 on the curbside, and text our reservations number (971.599.3439), and our driver will arrive shortly. If there are other passengers traveling there could be a 15-20 minute wait for all guest.
How much noticed is needed to book a reservation?
You can book a reservation with Nexus Transit up to six (6) months in advance, and a minimum of 48 hours before your flight date. Confirmation on short notice reservations are based on availability, so we advise booking your shuttle needs with us as soon as possible. The website says shuttle “UNAVAILABLE”?
When you are booking your reservation, after inputting your travel date(s) and time(s), and the site says “shuttle unavailable” this means that our vans are either fully booked, or in transit during the requested time. You can adjust your requested pick-up time to be picked up earlier, or simply send us an email to see when or if we are able to accommodate your request.
Has your prices increased?
Yes! Our prices did start at $45, however due to rising fuel cost, and the incredible success of our service we had to hire more office staff to answer and respond to all incoming inquiries. We are based out of Salem, Oregon and prices do slightly increase south of Mission ST, and Kuebler Ave.
Nexus Transit’s main goal will always be to keep our service affordable, reliable, and convenient.
Does Nexus Transit allow pets?
Yes, we do allow pets in the cages/craddles on our shuttles, and with respect to our other passengers can be placed safely with other luggage. Pets can be considered “extra luggage”, and there is a $10 charge. Smaller animals can ride with travelers in the seated section of the shuttle as an “additional passenger” for $25.
How do we cancel a booked reservation?
Simply log into your account and find the reservation that you would like to cancel then follow the instructions.
